It is not easy to make yourself go out of the room during the illness if you don’t have support. Ellie and Atlas were those who made Melanie get out of the world which was making her attacks frequent. Their need to run around, explore the nature and play was something like a turning point for her. The energy which dogs reflected was adamant and enough even for those around them, like Melanie.
