A Place Where Orphaned Baby Bats Get Second Chance – 12 Pics
There is a place in Australia, called Tolga Bat Hospital, where they rescue and foster orphaned baby bats from the whole region. They have a lot of little guys to save, because ticks are killing several hundreds of bats each season, and a lot of them leave their babies unprotected and not cared for. That's when these guys come in and save the lives of these helpless youngsters.

Although the hospital is funded mainly through donations, they still manage to give all the needed care to the little orphaned bats and with their help in 12 to 13 weeks, the bats are usually well nursed, socialized and prepared for their life in the wilds.
