Excessive Grooming – Decoration or Cruelty?

While there are obviously tons of people who consider this to be cute, pretty, adorable, artistic, etc., in my opinion this should be qualified as animal cruelty. I know they are using non-toxic dye, and that these animals are trained to stand still for quite some time, but still, forcing them go through these things seems just wrong to me.
