A very special dog
One day, the destiny of the dog named Stinky was changed forever. She got that name because of her bad odor from her infected mouth and a clouded gray eye, rotting teeth, and sticky fur. There were many dogs in Connecticut’s animal shelter, but for Shirley Braha only one was so special. She decided to do something very brave and to adopt a dog in a bad health.

A new chapter for the little Stinky
Braha didn’t care if Stinky was cute-looking or not. She only wanted to adopt that dog that was wonderful on the inside. When Stinky arrived at her new home, there wasn’t greater happiness for both. Stinky got a complete makeover. Braha took her to the vet, where cloudiness in the eye and the bad odor from her mouth disappeared, and today, she’s a completely healthy dog.

Stink has vanished
As Stinky’s stink vanished, the new name was created and it was Marnie. Besides all the anomalies that Marni has, she managed to conquer the hearts of many people, and it’s “only” about 2.1 million people. Marnie’s Instagram page didn’t become famous overnight. Braha created the account shortly after her adoption and it was just one more ordinary page with a few followers. A year later, Braha got surprised when someone tagged a picture of her dog and she suddenly started to get more and more followers.

It’s all about destiny
Braha’s first intentions were not to make her dog famous! All the popularity that Marni has gained is a pure destiny. Today, she is 16 years old and enjoys life like never before although many believed that she would not live so long. She gets a lot of love from Braha and that’s the most important thing a dog can get.

Signature head tilt
Wherever Marnie appears, she becomes a legend! Because her specific look with a tilted head and extremely long tongue cannot go unnoticed. People practically scream when they see her in public. Many have described that she actually looks like a sentient stuffed animal and like she’s not even real. Her signature head tilt is a remnant of the vestibular syndrome which is an extreme case of vertigo.
