This is one milky frog from the Milky way – an Amazon milk frog, Trachycephalus resinifictrix, that lives in the jungles of the Amazon area, as the name itself suggests. It is also known as a blue milk frog. This unusual species was named after the specific patterns/markings that cover its body, that resemble the jets of milk. These frogs is not very picky in eating – they eat all kinds of insects that they could find.
