Thailand favorite panda named Lin Ping became true star in her country, mostly because of her TV show. Now, when it's time to mate, hundreds of people gathered at the ceremony of sending one of the most famous female panda on her way to find a mate in China.

Preparations for her “Love Flight” to city of Chendu in Sichuan province took more than a week. She was under close supervision, including blood tests, emotions monitoring etc. On her flight to China she was escorted by veterinarian who made sure she got there safely. There, she will meet 5 male pandas and hopefully pick one of them to be her mate.

It will take a year for her to return to her homeland, so all we can do by then is hope that everything will go well, and wish her to return to Thailand with many many sweet pandas.
