Let’s Thank Together the Savior of Bengal Tiger Aasha – 9 Pictures
We all know that Bengal tigers are synonyms for strength and beauty. However, it is not always as shiny as in the story. Some animals have a bad life just because the world has evil people. But, it is so nice there are many good and observant people who help animals as well. Vicky Keahey is one of them and deserves a deep bow. This is a story about saving Aasha and effort that deserves immense gratitude from all of us.
How Did All Start?
When inspectors do their job, miracles can happen. One of the USDA inspectors, who was in charge of the tour of animals in circuses, found a small, starving Bengal tiger named Aasha. He reacted properly very fast and a cub has been moved to a safe place to receive the necessary care and treatment.

Home Recovery
Aasha she was only 9 months old when she arrived at the In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Education Center. Exactly at this place, at Wylie in Texas, the recovery process of this cub started, as it was four times more easily than the young tigers of the same age. Aasha weighted only 30 pounds and was in desperate condition. She also had injuries made by another, stronger tiger.

Lovely Place to Rest
In this center a young tigress got all the necessary attention and care. She received regular medication for recovery, while Vicky Keahey personally was taking care about her. With good treatment and healing baths, open wounds arising from the ringworks in the circus began to disappear. Bald spots were covered with soft, thick fur, and just eight weeks after Aasha could sleep undisturbed, and finally begin to enjoy life.

Playing in the Water
The attention she gained pleased her so much and eventually Aasha loved the water and ball games. She enjoyed socializing with good people and lovely Vicky. Her dry skin and bleeding dark areas become just an ugly past. After only eight months, there was no more trace of wounds that once covered almost the entire body of the tigress.

Cute Lovers Will Stay Together
Asha is the Indian sign for Hope. Maybe this little tiger got this name to make her life easier. Perhaps fate had given this name because the fate knew Aasha will be a part of a cruel game, but after that finally gets a rich reward. But, this story would not have had such a happy ending without Vicky Keahey, who gave her best to heal the wounds after great suffering. Thanks to her hard work and the love she unselfishly shared, happy life for these beautiful animals just begins.
