450 Dogs Asked for Help and the Internet Answered! – 13 Pictures

Astounding thing recently happened in Serbia. Man named Sasha Pesic decided to provide shelter for 450 abandoned/stray dogs in his own land at no cost to local government. Recently, that same government came up with some ridiculous reason to order Sasha to evict all those dogs to the streets where they would either be killed by that same local government or would die from cold. Sasha had nowhere else to turn to so he turned to the kind-hearted people from all over the world asking them for their support.

And the internet answered. Soon, local government was swamped with emails and Sasha's Facebook page received thousands of messages and tons of pictures in support of him and his dogs.

Support came from all over the world: USA, UK, Austria, Australia, Morocco…

Also, the online petition reached 220.000 signatures in a matter of days. All that effort bore fruit, and government agreed to allow Sasha to keep good care of his numerous dogs.
