Couldn’t Get Better Helper
Though I risk sounding like Janice from Friends, but OH - MY - GOD! I mean, can you believe what are they capable of? Everybody knows that a dog is man's best friend, but at least I couldn't imagine them doing all this stuff like people do. And imagine the help and support they give to these disabled people, it is even better than the best friend, since almost every human would, at certain point, say "Ok, I had enough, can't do it..." But the dogs seem to be happy doing laundry, going shopping, etc. I claim that people couldn't get better helper!
I assume it has already been thought of…but just in case it hasn’t yet been observed. I hope that the dogs trained to assist by placing credit/debit cards in ATMs are microchipped. Because sadly potential thieves who would try to avoid identification of their faces from security cameras might be tempted to try to kidnap assist dogs to use in ATM thefts of cash by using stolen credit/debit cards. While it is good to see the handicapped being helped some things are better left out of public viewing …maybe you might want to review whether this photo should continue to be publicly viewable by anyone with web access?? I would hate to see anything being misused or anyone being harmed if it could be prevented with some forethought.
So the thought is that a thief would steal the dog to get the cards and use the dog to withdraw cash without being seen? Assuming the cards are on the dogs, and that the dogs know the pin number for the card and will enter it for strangers…how would microchipping the dogs help?
hahahaha! hilarious! 2hat if the dogs realise they could just start stealing bank cards to pay for treats and toys – we need to make sure the dogs don’t realise their true potential, the fallout could be disastrous,
The dog on the intercom is called Endal, and he has had a book written about him, one of his more famous exploits was putting his master into the recovery position out side crufts when he was knocked down by a car. He became world famous for that.
